Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: MARCH 2026 | EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

TALOS GROUP LLC · OPERATING UNDER COMMISSION

1. How We Say This

Most privacy policies are written to protect the company from you. This one is written to protect you from ambiguity. We will tell you exactly what we collect, exactly what we do with it, and exactly what we do not do. If something is unclear, ask us. We will answer plainly.

Talos Group LLC builds applications. Our operating doctrine is local-first privacy, meaning your data lives on your device, not on our servers. This is not a policy preference. It is the architecture. The sections below explain what that means in practice.

2. What We Collect

For our applications, the short answer is: almost nothing. Here is the complete inventory.

[01]Application data is local only. Everything you create, store, or manage inside our applications stays on your device. Notes, records, files, credentials. It is not transmitted to our servers, not backed up to our infrastructure, and not accessible to us under any circumstances.
[02]No analytics. No tracking. We do not integrate analytics SDKs, crash reporters that phone home, or behavioral tracking of any kind. We do not know how you use our software and we designed it so that we cannot.
[03]No third-party advertising data. We do not sell, rent, license, or share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any commercial third party. Full stop.
[04]Support contact only. If you contact us for support, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message. We use it to respond to you and nothing else. We do not add you to lists. We do not profile you from it.
[05]Third-party features disclose their scope. Some applications optionally connect to third-party services (e.g., AI processing). When they do, the specific data transmitted is described in that application's documentation. Transmissions are feature-scoped and transient. We do not retain them on our side.

3. Architecture Over Policy

A privacy policy is a promise. Promises can be broken. Our architecture is built so that most of these commitments do not depend on us keeping our word. They are enforced by how the software was built.

STORAGE Device-local only. Android Keystore hardware encryption.
SYNC None. No cloud backup. No cross-device relay.
TELEMETRY None. Not anonymized. None.
ACCESS Zero server-side access. We cannot see your data.

4. Your Rights

Because your data is on your device, you already hold most standard data rights by default. But to be explicit:

  • The right to access your data: it is on your device.
  • The right to delete your data: uninstall the application.
  • The right to know what we have: see the inventory in Section 2. That is the complete list.
  • The right to ask questions: we will answer plainly. Contact us below.

5. Legal Compliance

We cooperate fully with lawful legal process. If we receive a valid legal order for user data, we will comply with it. However, because our applications are local-first and we do not retain user data on our servers, there is nothing for us to produce in almost all cases. We cannot surrender what we do not have. This is intentional.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects your privacy in any meaningful way, we will note it prominently with the date of change. We will not quietly broaden our data collection. If the policy changes enough to warrant it, we will say so directly rather than burying it in a revision history.

7. Contact

Questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy: support@talos-group.com or our Support Center. We respond plainly.
